Camcon Technology has completed its Intelligent Gas Lift alpha unit product. The application enhances the recovery of oil from reservoirs by introducing gas injection management capabilities to improve extraction flow and extend uninterrupted oil production periods. This will significantly improve oil extraction efficiencies, and help to increase the volume of oil that can be recovered from the world’s reservoirs. Developed specifically for the oil and gas industry, Camcon’s Intelligent Gas Lift configuration is part of Camcon’s Binary Actuator Technology (BAT). The configuration constantly monitors the well’s flow conditions and adapts to fluctuating parameters such as pressure, flowrate and temperature. Once incorporated within the inner tubing of the well bore, multiple valve combinations modify bubble size and frequency so that valves don’t have to be replaced and the oil extraction process can be continued without interruption.
