A total actuation solution from Auma has been installed at the Cam Pha Cement Plant located in the Quang Ninh Province of Vietnam. A key reason for the selection of Auma’s modular actuation technology was the company’s ability to provide products and services from one manufacturing source. The facility is designed to support the region’s growth in civil works. Featuring a cement kiln that uses anthracite coal produced in Northern Vietnam, and a grinding mill that has a 500tn/hr capacity. Total cement production at the plant is 6000tns/dy. Supporting the automation demands of the plant, Auma has combined SA multi-turn actuators with their GS worm gearbox to provide an electric part-turn actuation solution to meet the high torque requirements of the application. Part turn actuators have also been provided and the actuation technology is supported by the company’s local representatives in Vietnam.
