Valve World Expo 2010 in good shape

Fourteen months before the Düsseldorf premiere of the Valve World Expo (30 November to 2 December 2010), exhibitors are showing great interest. As many as 328 companies from 33 countries have already registered to exhibit at the 7th Biennial Valve World Conference & Exhibition held in Halls 3 and 4 of the Düsseldorf Exhibition Centre. So far 10,700sq/m of net exhibition space have been rented out. Besides German firms most exhibitors come from Italy, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, USA, Taiwan, South Korea, India and China. Held concurrently with the trade fair, the Valve World Conference will take place at the Congress Center Süd (CCD South) adjacent to Hall 3. The accompanying conference is organised by Kleve-based company KCI GmbH. All in all, 400 exhibitors from 35 countries are expected in Düsseldorf. The organisers anticipate in the region of 7000 trade visitors who will gather information on technical innovations from the areas of valves, valve-related products and valve–related piping products, seals, sealing materials, engineering as well as supporting services over the three days of the trade fair. LDAR (Leak Detection and Repair) software, S.I.S. as well as associations and publishers complement the ranges on show at the Valve World Expo. Given the diversity of ranges displayed exhibitors become visitors for their fellow exhibitors: component and finished product manufacturers find their suppliers among the exhibitor community while major plant and machinery manufacturers find their components at the stands of other exhibitors at the Valve World Expo. The current technical trends proposed by VWE are of particular interest to trade visitors from such fields as shipbuilding, engine and vehicle construction, the chemical and power industries, the marine and offshore industry, the food industry as well as machine and plant engineering. A one-day ticket costs EUR 25, the three-day ticket EUR 40. The exhibition catalogue is priced at EUR 10. For further information go to: www.valveworldexpo.com.
