Innovative Pressure Technologies (IPT) has introduced its Subsea valves. Designed to deliver smooth, low-torque performance in subsea applications, these valves are available with a T-handle for manual operation, paddle handle for ROV operation, or hydraulic actuator for remote operation. They feature a floating ball design for operation at 3000PSI up to 6000PSI, and a trunnion ball design for operation at up to 15,000PSI. Full and reduced port, and needle valve, designs are available. Subsea valves feature a blow-out proof stem for maximum safety, as well as complete material traceability on all components. They are available with a wide selection of tube, pipe and flanged end connections. The valves have been 100% tested to API-598 or contract requirements. Additionally, these valves can be manufactured to meet NACE MR-01-75 and American Petroleum Institute standards. Subsea valves are available with port sizes from 1/4in – 2in. The body and end flanges are constructed of stainless steel and duplex steel. Subsea valve seals feature PEEK seats for extremely high resistance to chemical, heat and wear, and NBR Buna-N o-rings make them suitable for operation in temperatures ranging from -35F to 250F. Other seal materials are available for extreme service applications.
