Insert Key Solutions (IKS), a provider of Equipment Reliability Software Products, and True North Consulting (TNC), a provider of Engineering Program Services, has announced the development of an equipment reliability and programs management software tools suite, called the Engineering Programs Management Suite (EPMS), for the Power Industry. EPMS will be completely web-based and integrated with the IKS Equipment Reliability Software Suite. The EPMS tool suite is designed to maximize data mining from existing client data sources, eliminate duplication of data entry, and produce value added information where action can be taken to maintain or increase the margin to plant safety. The EPMS tool suite is designed to offer program manager modules for a wide range of engineering programs including: In-service Testing, Containment Leakage Rate Testing, Check Valve Condition Monitoring, Relief Valve Device, In-Service Inspection, Dynamic Restraint (Snubbers), Motor Operated Valve, Air Operated Valve, and Heat Exchanger. User interfaces will be standardized and optimized to match desired business processes resulting in a seamless user experience with powerful integration, and minimal training requirements. Technical platforms will also be standardized minimizing installation and deployment costs.
