The GF Piping Systems butterfly valve series type 567/568 is now available in sizes from 14” to 24” with a comprehensive range of products for wafer and lug style applications. With a 50% lower actuation torque compared to a centric butterfly, abrasion can be noticeably reduced and all components in contact with the media are made of piping materials, minimizing permeation. The modular design principle also permits the exchange of individual system components quickly, easily, and at little expense, and options include pneumatic or electric actuation, and a fine adjustment lever which allows the disc to be opened at any angle from 0° to 90°.
