A wastewater treatment plant has used 20 of Flowrox’s PV 500 E01 control pinch valves for controlling the flow of sludge. Flowrox pinch valves have been used by Krüger in the construction of a wastewater treatment plant in Poland.
The plant’s capacity is equal to the wastewater of two million people and is 1.2km wide and 800m long. The 20 valves will be controlling the flow of biological sludge from the bottom of the plant’s settling tanks.
