AUMA has supplied 100 explosion proof, non-intrusive actuators for the Haramidere loading terminal in Istanbul, Turkey. With an established track record supplying the oil and gas industries for more than three decades, the Turkish tank farm installation is the latest contract to confirm AUMA’s expertise supplying actuation solutions for hazardous environments.
At the Haramidere scheme, AUMA’s modular actuation technology for automation of gate valves has been extensively utilised. The installation includes adoption of the company’s actuators on over 60 manifold gate valves and on 30 valves at tank outlets. Profibus DP technology has been incorporated into the automation solution for an enhanced communication solution that offers on site design flexibility.
