SIPOS synchronised system

Confirming its skills in actuator innovations, SIPOS Aktorik’s solution for valve stem synchronisation will be a central feature at some of the company’s main displays during 2012.

Traditionally, a mechanical process links two gearboxes to one actuator. However, stems can be a considerable distance apart causing synchronisation problems. This automation issue has been addressed by the R&D team at SIPOS and the actuation technology will highlighted at events over the course of the year, including IFAT.

The company’s synchronisation solution is achieved without special programming in an external PLC and optimum performance is ensured with two level monitoring. The actuation advancement addresses the mechanical problems that can arise due to preprogrammed one-sided loads and it provides an answer for situations when valve stems cannot be coupled mechanically.
