Curtiss-Wright Flow Control Company announced today that its business unit Enertech and Chalmers & Kubeck, Inc. have signed an exclusive agreement to collaborate in providing integrated services and life-cycle management of specialised, critical components to the nuclear power industry.
Under the terms of the agreement, Enertech will focus its efforts on sales and marketing for Chalmers & Kubeck’s extensive service, repair and machining capabilities. In addition, the alliance will leverage Enertech’s robust and mature nuclear quality assurance program for components in safety related applications. Enertech’s nuclear service offerings on major plant components include: shop and field repair, refurbishment, machining, welding, diagnostics and troubleshooting; upgrades and retrofits; mobile resources; plant modernization and extended power uprate support; and inventory optimization programs for nuclear power plants and other facilities performing nuclear-related activities.
