ValvTechnologies, Inc., manufacturer of zero-leakage, severe service isolation valve solutions, has named Jill Krause as director of global human resources, announced company president Kevin Hunt.
Reporting to Hunt and based in Houston, Krause will facilitate the implementation and lead the development of human resource continuous improvement standardization and initiatives across all ValvTechnologies’ global operations.
Krause has more than 20 years of human resource management expertise with a specialization in global manufacturing operations. She joins ValvTechnologies from Vinmar International, Ltd., a petrochemicals company, where she served as global director, human resources. In that role, she was responsible for setting and overseeing the strategic direction in the development and execution of all human resource operations for approximately 27 countries.
“In order to be successful, it is paramount for us to display a strong team effort and exceptional core leadership,” said Hunt. “Jill is well-respected for her integrity and expertise in workforce management; we will definitely leverage that to benefit our company.”
Krause holds an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Additionally, she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a BBA in Business Management and a focus in Entrepreneurism from Northwood University.
Recently, Krause was named as a 2011-2012 Woman of the Year by the National Association of Professional Women. In addition, she was named a 2011-2012 Professional of the Year in Human Resources by the Cambridge Who’s Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in human resources.
