AUMA returns to Power-Gen Asia to promote its capabilities in providing electric actuation solutions across a wide range of power-industry-applications including fossil-fuel, nuclear and renewable source plants. The global company confirms its regional credentials with representation in 24 Asian countries including China, Hong Kong, India, Bahrain, Japan and Singapore.
AUMA’s products on display at Power-Gen will include multi-turn and part-turn actuators with AUMA’s modular design that enables easy upgrades—a feature that is highly advantageous for the power plant environment. The modular actuation experts will also highlight their ability to offer controls mounted separately from the actuator. This solution is beneficial for power plants exposed to significant vibration levels and high ambient temperatures, or plants where the actuator is placed in a difficult to access location.
The electric actuator manufacturer’s installations at the Kota Super Thermal Power Station, Rajasthan’s first major coal-fired power plant, and a co-operation with Kirloskar to support an Indian thermal power plant in Salaya, Gujarat, confirms AUMA’s strong track record in supplying the Asian power industry.
