Magnatrol Valve Corporation, a manufacturer of full port, internal pilot operated, and direct acting solenoid valves, has launched new Type “A” and “AR” Bronze Solenoid Valves for use in water/wastewater and fuel oil applications.
Available for pipe sizes from 1/2”–3”, the valves feature cast bronze, globe-pattern valve bodies with NPT ends, and packless construction with continuous duty coils for all voltages. The valves require no differential pressure to open and can be serviced easily while in the pipeline, shortening costly downtime while increasing productivity.
Type “A” valves are normally closed (energise to open) and Type “AR” valves are normally open (energise to close). Valves have Buna N, Viton or Glass filled Teflon orifice seal materials, with the Viton particularly well suited to handle fuel oils. Other valve applications are Gas, Air, Brine and more.
Standard shipment is 3-7 working days with rush orders shipped same or next day. Special applications/alloys and custom engineering are available along with a wide range of industry standard options. Every valve is manufactured and tested in house.
