Proserv won the Technology Implementation of the Year accolade at the Oil and Gas Middle East Awards 2013 and was shortlisted for the Health and Safety Initiative of the Year. The industry recognition comes just days after Proserv Chief Executive David Lamont scooped an EY UK Entrepreneur of the Year 2013 award.
The Technology Implementation of the Year award recognised Proserv’s efforts in developing an energy efficient chemical injection system. Launched during last year’s ADIPEC Conference, the system uses solar energy along with high efficiency components. This enables Proserv to offer a system with 40% less inefficiencies than other conventionally methods operating within the same parameters.
Proserv’s shortlisting in the Health and Safety Initiative of the Year category was in testament to a new Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) champions’ programme that the company has introduced. Andy Anderson, region president, MENA, said, “Developing leading technology whilst doing all we can to ensure safety are the two major focuses at Proserv. To be recognised for excellence in both is a wonderful accolade for our team and shows we are achieving our aims.
The annual Oil and Gas Middle East Awards were held for the fourth time at the Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche in Abu Dhabi.
