Valve Industry Forum held in Moscow

The first International Valve Industry Forum and Expo – 2013 was held at the Sokolniki Exhibition and Convention Center in Moscow this November.

 
The forum was organised by Scientific and Industrial Valve Manufacturing Association and Industrial Forum, JSC. It was patronised by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation, supported by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) International, European Association for the Taps and Valves Industry (CEIR), Polish Industrial Valves Association (SPAP), Ukrainian Association for Valves Industry (APAU) and Turkish Pump and Valves Manufacturers Association. The Forum was sponsored by Energomashcomplect.

 
The distinctive feature of the Forum was an extended Business Program held for the first time in the industry. This Business Program more or less set the pace for the three-day long event. The Business Program events alone attracted more than 800 delegates. The exhibition included stands of more than 37 organisations.
 
The Second Valve Industry Forum will be held April14 to 16, 2015, in All-Russian Exhibition Center in Moscow. So far, several special events for industry experts are planned.
