ZVI appoints new CEO

Zahroof Valves Incorporated (ZVI) appointed Anthony (Tony) Gioffredi as CEO. Gioffredi brings extensive compression, power generation and industrial capabilities to ZVI as well as significant experience with mergers & acquisitions and global operations.

The past twelve years, Gioffredi worked at EnPro Industries of Charlotte, NC, where he was a corporate officer and multi-division president. Gioffredi first joined EnPro in 2001 as vice-president of Operations for FME until he moved to Stafford in 2003 to establish new headquarters for CPI. Prior to joining EnPro, Gioffredi was vice-president and general manager for the reciprocating compressor division of Dresser-Rand Company in Painted Post, New York. His previous experience also includes 15 years at Westinghouse Electric Corporation in their Power Generation Business Unit where he was the multi-plant manager of facilities in Charlotte, North Carolina and Fort Payne, Alabama.

With a proven track record of operational and executive leadership for domestic and international businesses, Gioffredi has added value through talent and organisational development, lean manufacturing techniques, new product development, and leveraging supply bases.
