A. u. K. Müller make a range of single chamber straight valves in nominal orifices DN 7 to DN 21 and angled valves DN 10 to DN 13 and now also offer a 90° angled valve with DN 17. Especially for narrow installation conditions, the elbow nozzle is a space-saving solution.
The angle valve, series 01.017.115, is ideal for applications requiring larger flow in a small space. With a Cv value of 70 l/min at 1bar, a high flow rate is achieved in spite of the reduced size. A further advantage of the valve is its short closing time, allowing a precise control, for example when filling tanks. Despite the high flow rate and the short closing time, the valve fully meets the requirements of EN 60730 in terms of water hammer.
The normally closed angle valve is ideally suited for use in drinking water applications. The valve is made of glass fibre reinforced polyamide and stainless steel and is suitable for hot water up to 90°C. The materials are KTW/W270 approved and 100% lead-free. Certified variants according to UL, VDE and WRAS will also be available shortly. An ACS approval can be done on request.
