BVP ball valves comply with Gazprom standards

Blagoveshchensk Valves Plant (BVP), based in the Republic of Bashkortostan, part of United Metallurgical Company, (OMK) Moscow, successfully held acceptance tests for its ball valve, complying with Gazprom’s STO internal standard. The valve will now be listed in the Register of Equipment with Technical Conditions Complying with Gazprom Standards.

The half-frames of the ball valves will be produced by the Trubodetal factory, Chelyabinsk. The cooperation between the factories within OMK’s Pipeline Fittings and Valves Division will considerably reduce the production and delivery period. The full production cycle will make it possible to control the quality at all production stages.

“The successful trials mean that Blagoveshchensk Valves Plant is entering a new mid-size stop valve market for items with a diameter ranging from 300mm to 700mm. This is another step forward for the company in delivering comprehensive solutions for the oil and gas industry”, said Alexander Kozhevnikov, BVP’s managing director.
