Two-Stage AxisPro KBH valves from Eaton

Power management company Eaton expanded the AxisPro® product line to include a two-stage D08-size design featuring valve position feedback on the pilot and main stage. The larger valve helps simplify machine control for demanding applications including injection and blow moulding machines, large press applications, die casting, primary metals, test and simulation and wood processing applications.

The new two-stage AxisPro KBH servo-proportional valve features 375 litre per minute (lpm) rated flow at 10bar pressure, 350bar maximum pressure rating and 30ms step response with 100 bar pilot pressure. Additionally, the valve is ambient temperature rated for -25°C to 70°C and IP 65/67 ingress protection rated. Together with the ability to configure the valve using Pro-FX® Configure software, an AxisPro valve simplifies machine control for distributors and end users alike. The valve also features built-in diagnostic light-emitting diodes (LEDs) and a CANopen bus that makes system commissioning and debugging easier.

“Built on proven KBH technology, the new valves demonstrate Eaton’s continuing commitment to innovatively solving customer challenges”, said Per Danzl, product manager, Industrial Portfolio, Americas, Eaton. “With the high-flow, two-stage design, the reliability, improved diagnostics and configuration flexibility made possible by AxisPro can now be applied to a wider range of industrial machinery.”

AxisPro product training is available on a bi-monthly basis at Eaton’s Maumee, Ohio facility.
