New PICVs from Regin

Regin is expanding its range of 2-way pressure independent control valves (PICV) with new models for diameters DN32 to DN50. The valves have integrated differential pressure controller and flow limitation. Authority calculation, complex pipe installation and commissioning are not required. The valves are ideal for control of hot/cold water in systems with multiple or large fan-coil units, chilled beams or air handling units, etc.

The PCMTV valves require no authority calculation. Selecting the desired flow is also very easy thanks to the integrated pre-setting tool. The max flow can be set and changed at any time without any overhead costs, enabling the valve to be used immediately after having been mounted. The PCMTV vales can be set to a specific flow rate value with high accuracy, allowing for precise modulating control. The advantage of PICV valves is also that one single valve covers three functions, regulating, balancing and functioning as a constant flow limiter.

The PCMTV32-50 valves are intended for max. 600kPa differential pressure and have built-in measuring ports. It is available in four models. RVASM16 rotating actuators are intended for use in HVAC applications together with the pressure independent PCMTV32-50 valves. The actuators are compact, easy to mount and have a clear position indication. The actuators are available in three models.
