Nordson ASYMTEK, a Nordson company, earned two prestigious awards for innovative technology – the Innovation Award from Electronics Manufacturing (EM) Asia and the VISION Award from SMT China magazine – during NEPCON China 2015. The awards were presented for achievement in product excellence in the dispensing equipment category for Nordson ASYMTEK’s Quantum® automated fluid dispensing system. Nordson ASYMTEK products have received these awards for nine straight years.
Nordson ASYMTEK’s Quantum® fluid dispenser has a large 423mmx458mm dispense area, but performs with the same speed, high-precision and closed-loop process controls that usually can only be found in smaller dispensers. The platform handles a wide range of substrate sizes and fluids, enabling dual-lane and dual-valve dispensing. The system comes complete with advanced features like a laser height sensor for fast, non-contact dispense height measurement, a digital vision system for superior image contrast and detection, patented Calibrated Process Jetting™ software to automatically compensate for changes in fluid viscosity, and Fids-on-the-Fly™ software that captures fiducials faster than stop-and-capture mode for higher units per hour.
