Metso has received totally 12 small to mid-sized orders from geothermal power providers in Turkey. Metso’s delivery scope to the plants includes control and on-off valves, consisting of butterfly, globe, segment and ball valves ranging from 1″ to 54″ in size from the Neles® and Jamesbury® product portfolios.
The valves in a geothermal power plant must endure demanding process conditions, such as high pressure difference, flashing and silica scaling, and they must meet all safety requirements. Metso’s range of control valves and proven industry experience secure sustainability and fulfil safety and environmental requirements in the geothermal plant processes.
