Asahi/America launches forward pressure regulator

Asahi/America, the specialist in thermoplastic fluid flow technology, announces the next-generation model T-241 forward pressure regulator for ultrapure water systems. The T-241 pressure regulator is a forward pressure regulator that controls upstream pressure fluctuations to critical points of use.

The T-241’s internal parts have been significantly improved for optimum purity and minimal particle shedding. The wetted elastomers have been upgraded to premium materials, and internal surfaces have been enhanced. The parts are cleaned and assembled by Asahi/America’s manufacturing partner, AGRU, in their state-of-the-art Austrian facility. All wetted parts are cleaned in an automated six-phase cleaning system, then assembled and packaged in a Class 100 cleanroom.

The T-241’s body features an integrated gauge guard, which eliminates the need for additional instrument fittings. The included pressure gauge has been upgraded to a robust stainless steel housing. The regulator setting is easily adjusted by an integrated setscrew protected by a top cap. The T-241 is available in high purity PVDF and PP body materials.

Designed to meet stringent particle-shedding constraints for next-generation microelectronics manufacturing, the T-241’s enhanced features make it an excellent solution for tool hookup project and for replacing installed regulators causing yield issue.
