RMA has delivered the first large diameter ball valves for TAP in both Greece and Albania. Each valve weighs approximately 20 tonnes. TAP will use 55 valves of 48” and 36” diameter, which will be installed by the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) contractors along the entire route.
The ball valves were transported by truck from Kehl in Germany to TAP’s main marshalling yards (MMY) in Greece and Albania, where they will be stored until installation according the project schedule.
