Vaptech has commissioned Candir-I hydro power plant in Turkey. This hydropower plant has an installed capacity of 1,8 MW. The company has delivered an electromechanical system based on two identical Francis turbines with horizontal shaft arrangement. The horizontal shaft operates under a net head of 122,6 m and a flow of 0,85 m3/s per unit. The turbines’ rated output is 0,896 MW at a rotation speed of 1500 rpm.
In addition, Vaptech has delivered main inlet butterfly valves, bypass systems, generators, hydraulic unit, plant automation, supervision of installation works, and commissioning.
