Samson Ringo supplies a stainless steel valve

Samson Ringo has recently supplied through Samson Controls USA a 24” stainless steel angle globe control valve 600# to be installed in a methanol plant in United States. The task of this valve is the control of gas / hydrocarbon to the flare stack for disposal. Flare valves operate very seldom but have to be extremely reliable due to the critical application, since the controlled release / burning of gases into the atmosphere is required to safeguard against overpressure of critical assets within the plant and dispose of any waste gas.

The valve has a body size of 24″, class ANSI 600#, and end connections are of flanged RF 600 class. The body material is A351 CF3. The seat, plug, and cage are made from SS316L+Stellite. The trim type is BSS multicylinder 5 stage and 4 multidrilled diffuser plates. The valve has been satisfactorily tested to fulfil the required leakage class V.
