Mir Valve have been awarded a new order for API 6D ball valves for Sarawak Shell offshore East Malaysia.
The order consists of 7pcs MV3 side-entry ball valves. The valves are made from 900 CS + inconel 625 weld overlay. The design is dual set and features a hydraulic actuator installation on a riser. During FAT, the ball valve will be tested in the vertical position and 24”, 20”, 10” CL. 900 in full duplex or CS+Inconel 625 weld overlay , peek insert, lipseals, manual or actuated (electric / pneumatic). The valve meets Norsok material requirements, and has cleared fugitive emission testing. The valves will be delivered in July 2017.
