AMPO constructs new valve manufacturing plant

AMPO POYAM VALVES has now completed construction of their 100% owned new valve manufacturing plant in Coimbatore.

The new 100% owned AMPO plant comprises an area of approximately 15,000 square meters and includes valve assembly, testing, painting and packing facilities. With this new facility AMPO will be able to manufacture up to 72” size valves, as well as to extend their capabilities. Valve production at the new facilities will start in April.

AMPO INDIA will be an exact copy of the Spanish plant. In Coimbatore, AMPO has the same departments as Spain and it also has its own Management. However, the departments in Spain and India are continually in touch and the presence of Spanish workers in the Indian workshop continues, so that the coordination and communication is fluent.

AMPO POYAM VALVES also has one of the widest valve ranges on the market, offering ball, gate, globe, check, lift plug, switch, slurry angle and butterfly valves.
