AMPO POYAM VALVES designs and manufactures highly engineered double expanding through conduit gate valves, which are considered critical valves due to their operation in the most severe environments of topside platforms, riser platforms, FPSOs, refinery pipelines and tank pipelines. These valves are mainly used for methanol, scale inhibitor, kill system, condensate low pressure, lsfo product, crude oil feed, ulsd product, untreated diesel, ARDS feed, ATB/LSFO product, ATK/DPK poduct, LSD (Low Sulphur Diesel) and fuel gas (Mod Sour).
Double block and bleed (twin ball) valves are commonly used for those applications, but AMPO’s Engineering team have worked intensively in order to develop a more reliable and competitive solution for these services, reducing the weight as well as reducing the space needed for the equipment in the plant.
