Dervos Valve has expanded its product range with changeover valves. These are the three-way devices for flow selection in a pipeline, typically used to connect two safety valves to a single pressurized system. These devices ensure the possibility to have one safety valve always in operation and one in stand-by, ready to come into operation. These changeover valves are recommended to increase plant availability or to avoid plant shutdown, avoiding any relevant economic damage.
Changeover valves can be installed individually upstream of the safety valves or upstream and downstream of the safety valves, when outlet is connected to a closed header.
These valves are suitable for a wide range of applications, such as high temperatures, cryogenic service, lethal fluids and many others.
