BORSIG to provide artec AIS valves

BORSIG has taken over the product business of artec Armaturen und Industrieservice GmbH (artec AIS for short)  Ball valves and steam coolers will immediately complement the valves business of the BORSIG Group.

artec AIS provides industrial control and shut-off valves for high-pressure applications. They serve clients in the power generation, oil and gas and petrochemical industries.

The product focus is on fully metal-seated, highly wear-resistant control and shut-off ball valves for applications in the 100-400 bar pressure range for gas caverns, gas storage tanks, gas stations, compressor stations, gas pressure control and measuring stations.

However, the product range is far more extensive. In addition to metal-seated control and pre-filling ball valves and shut-off and emergency shut-off ball valves (ESD), BORSIG will also be offering 3-way valves and electronic protection systems (HIPPS) including EMSR technology, injection coolers, motive steam nozzles and steam converter stations.

The service portfolio will also include services relating to the flexibilisation of steam generators and optimization of existing steam temperature control systems, the engineering and implementation of instrumentation and control technology, as well as the maintenance, repair and modification of third party industrial valves to extend service life.
