S Zorb(TM) sulfur removal technology has many advantages, but high temperature and high speed abrasive fluids cause severe problems for valves. Foyo developed special ceramic ball valves exclusively for S Zorb equipment in 2014. Nearly after four years’ service, the customer was satisfied with the performance of the ceramic ball valves. In May, 2018, the end user ordered another two sets pneumatic ceramic ball valves for their S Zorb System.
The pneumatic ceramic ball valve has size 3”, with a pressure rating CL600, as well as flange ends ASME B16.5, RF, CL600. The valve is equipped with an FT Scotch Yoke pneumatic actuator. The valve can withstand high temperature and abrasive conditions. It can perform in medium comprising SORBENT/H2 + Hydrocarbon, and has maximum operating pressure 2.97Mpa, and operating temperature 427℃.
