InterApp Desponia butterfly valves for FGD

InterApp Desponia resilient seated butterfly valves are perfect for flue-gas desulfurization (FGD) which is a set of technologies used to remove sulfur dioxide (SO2) from exhaust flue gases of fossil-fuel power plants, and from the emissions of other sulfur oxide emitting processes. InterApp has developed DESPONIA range of resilient seated butterfly valve technology using FLUCAST liquid abrasion resistant liners, and alloy 926 super austenitic stainless steel discs. Both these features offer superior resistance to both pitting and crevice corrosion. The DESPONIA DN350 U-pattern butterfly valve has been manufactured with a ductile iron body (200 micron paint system), FLUCAST EPDM liner, alloy 926 disc, 17-4 PH s/steel stem, and has been automated with an AUMA ‘SQ’ series quarter turn electric actuator.
