The ORBINOX DN350 (14) ‘TK’ series through conduit type knife gate valve is designed for use on a severe service bulk handling application. The specification demanded 316L stainless steel body material, painted in accordance with the project specification, a duplex stainless steel gate, RTFE seats and KALREZ O-rings. The valve operator was specified with a double acting pneumatic actuator. ORBINOX’s PNEUTON™ engineering team provided the bespoke control logic, comprising its PneuLINK™ linear-to-rotary integrated valve position monitor system and associated 316L stainless steel instrumentation.
