Wandfluh’s SD7 electronics can now communicate with the latest generation of HART 7 devices. SD7 electronics are available as an amplifier and a controller version. The various proportional valves can be controlled with the amplifier version. With the controller version, pressure, volume flow or position can additionally be controlled.
HART is a special standard that is widely used in the process industry to exchange data digitally with a field device. With this, information can be read from the device or sent to the device. In an electronic description file (EDD), these values and parameters are specified and described.
