Air Valves perform two important functions in a piping system: they maintain system design efficiency and provide system protection. Val-Matic has developed the most comprehensive line of water and wastewater air valves available today with those two functions in mind. From the smallest simple lever air release valve to the largest surge-suppression combination air valve, all are provided standard with Type 316 stainless steel trim and floats ranging in sizes from ½” – 42”. Type 316 stainless steel is an important feature offering superior corrosion resistance in situations where the added resistance is needed such as for chlorides and acids. Corrosion resistance and material strength of the steel can also improve the functional lifespan of the valve.
