Butterfly valves for Johor Bahru Riverworks

Wouter Witzel EuroValve supplies butterfly valves for Johor Bahru Riverworks replacement project in Malaysia. The plant is managed and owned by PUB Singapore and supplies drinking water to the city of Singapore.

The second Water Agreement was signed in 1962 and will expire in 2061. It entitles Singapore to draw and use the water from the Johor River up to a maximum of 250 million gallons of raw water per day.

The plant runs since 1961 and the aged butterfly valves will be replaced by our butterfly valves. Together with new Ebara pumps the plant will soon run fully operational again.
