Rotork recently announced the acquisition of Valco Valves and Automation AS, the group’s long-standing sales and service agent in Norway. Valco Valves and Automation, which will now be known as Rotork Norway, has over thirty years’ experience of the valve actuation and control industries, encompassing sales, servicing, maintenance, repairs and total valve management.
The business is based at a 900 sq/m workshop facility in Agotnes near Bergen, which offers full service and overhaul support for all Rotork products, including large fluid power actuators. The company is particularly active in the offshore topside and subsea oil and gas industry, with six offshore trained staff enabling service work to be performed anywhere in the country, including the offshore sector, even at short notice.
