SIPOS Aktorik is due to return to Power-Gen Europe in order to display its electric actuation capabilities. SIPOS’ full product portfolio will be presented including their SIPOS 5 Flash electric actuators, the HiMod extreme precision actuator for challenging, high-end modulating duty and specialist nuclear industry products. Variable speed functionality for soft start / stop and an underperformance capability that provides continued operation without oversizing actuators are two of the product features that will be highlighted.
Adopters of SIPOS’ actuation include the RWE Eemshaven coal fired power plant in the Netherlands. More than 2,000 SIPOS Aktorik electric actuators play a key valve automation role at the plant. Over 7,000 SIPOS electric actuators are now installed at RWE plants in Niederaussem, Neurath, Hamm Westfalen and Eemshaven.
