SIPOS Aktorik has successfully managed a comprehensive actuator retrofit for E.ON’s German power plant, Franken 1. The extensive service provided included 80 valves cut out of the pipeline and replaced, 120 old actuators removed and 200 new SIPOS Flash 5 actuators mounted and put into operation. In addition, on-site assistance has been provided which reinforces SIPOS’ growing reputation for partnership support. The 790MW power plant’s control system is managed by Siemens: SIPOS collaborated closely in the commissioning of complete units.
