AIL (Audco India Ltd) has acquired CE Marking of gate, globe and check valves for the European market. It is mandatory to comply with the EC Pressure Equipment Directive (PED) for supplies into EC countries from 29 May 2002. AIL has qualified the entire range of gate, globe and check valves in carbon steel, alloy steel and stainless steel including bolted bonnet and pressure seal bonnet valves. The valves have been qualified as per Conformity Assessment as described in Module H of the PED 97/23/EC. This assessment and certification for the maximum category (Category III) was performed by notified body Det Norske Veritas (DNV), Norway.
