Aleron Subsea acquires ROVQUIP

Aleron Subsea, a specialist ROV refurbishment, upgrade, sales and rental Company has acquired ROVQUIP, an Aberdeenshire based ROV tooling manufacturer.

With the acquisition of ROVQUIP, Aleron Subsea will expand its product and service offerings, adding specialist tooling to its products range which will include ROV skids, BOP shut down systems, cutters, water jetters, IHPU’s and more. ROVQUIP are also specialists in engineering custom solutions to fix unavoidable unique offshore problems. Established in 2010 by Mike Bisset, Aleron currently has 8 work class ROV systems, and offers full contract support for the supply, service and maintenance of complete ROV systems and their associated equipment. Aleron also manufacture their own range of ROV components including thrusters, compensators and intelligent hydraulic valve packs.
