Amot gas-turbine fuel control valve

The new AMOT 8402 gas-turbine fuel control valve has been developed for metering on industrial or aero-derivative turbines and can be combined with the Model 4420 fuel shutoff valve. The 8402 valve has a 500:1 turn-down ratio that can allow a single unit to deliver fuel precisely from light-off to maximum power. Its electric stepper-motor actuator can fully stroke the valve in 250ms and eliminates the need for a hydraulic actuation system. Its digital optical encoder, constructed of carbon or stainless steel, provides repeatability of +/-0.05% of stroke. The 4420 turbine fuel shutoff valve can be linked with the 8402 control valve to provide a combined system for turbo-machinery applications. This shutoff valve can be used for gas turbines of 10 to 30MW size, starting air/gas valve bleed valves and vented fuel/gas valves. It is a single acting pneumatically actuated spring-return valve available in two-way and two-way vented versions, which are suitable for gas-turbine applications because they relieve and vent pressure on the down-stream side upon shutdown.
