AMPO gets grant for GEOCEN II, EMISIO projects

AMPO S. COOP. has received a grant for GEOCEN II and EMISIO projects for its research and development project entitled “New Parts With Advanced Geometries Obtained By Centrifugal Spinning And Ceramic Moulds”.

The main objective of the project is to develop new and higher quality pieces with advanced geometries to avoid cracking through the centrifugal spinning process with ceramic moulds, and using high performance new materials. These components will be used in petrochemical plants as well as power generation.

AMPO S. COOP. has also received a grant for its Research and Development project entitled “Reduction Of Fugitive Emissions In Industrial Valves For The Oil & Gas Industry”.

The main objective of this project is to reduce the volume of fugitive emissions to the atmosphere in industrial valves for the oil & gas industry, which will allow meeting the increasingly demanding customer requirements, due to the fatal consequences that could have an outside gas leakage.

Both these aids have been co-financed by the European Union’s FEDER Operational Program of the Basque Country 2014-2020 and by the Basque Government.
