APR Supply Co., a fourth-generation, family-owned HVAC, and plumbing wholesale distributor, has entered the due diligence phase to acquire Industrial Piping Systems (IPS). The IPS branches are existing joint venture locations with APR Lancaster, State College, Williamsport, and York. IPS is a wholesale distributor of industrial pipe, valve, fitting and related products in Central Pennsylvania and northern Maryland.
Peter Garcelon has been named director of sales for the PVF division of APR Supply Co.
Garcelon joins APR from Ferguson Enterprises where he served as the Mid-Atlantic Region Tools and Safety Manager since 2017 and previously as Tools and Safety Sales Coordinator from 2006 to 2017. He started his career at Barnes Distribution as a district account manager followed by sales account manager at Mid Atlantic Rubber Company.

In its 101st year of business, APR Supply Co. intends to continue to grow at a consistent, brisk pace through organic growth, product line expansions, and acquisitions. The anticipated closing date of June 27 of IPS will represent APR’s third acquisition since the fall of 2022.
