Fourteen entries have been nominated to win the Aquatech Innovation Award for 2011. The nominations for the five different categories (Waste Water Treatment, Transport & Storage, Process Control Technology & Process Automation, Water Supply (incl. point of use) and Innovation – not to market yet) showcase how impressively diverse the water sector is.

Category Transport & Storage: Adaptive N-impeller(s) on Flygt N-pumps – ITT Fluid Control; and Fish-friendly pump – 100% safe for eel – Pentair Nijhuis. Category Water Supply (incl. Point of Use): 2B Sure Autonomous Waterstorage treatment system – Bright Spark B.V; CapDI CT – Voltea B.V. and QuantumFlux – NanoH2O. Category Innovation – not to market yet: Blue Eco pumps – SIBO BV; TECTA – ENDETEC; and X-Flow HF Nano – Pentair X-Flow.

The winner will be announced during the Opening Ceremony of Aquatech Amsterdam on October 31 at Amsterdam RAI. Take a walk to the Innovation Zone in hall 7 for all the nominees.
