ARMATURY Group as a part of ISSACEA project

ARMATURY Group won a significant contract for the Romanian TRANSGAZ S.A. The value of this order exceeded € 1M, and dispatching of the valves was divided into two parts: the first part took place in December last year and the last ball valves left the ARMATURY Group gate and headed to Romania this year. At this time all ball valves are successfully installed in the pipeline and are fully operational.

“The delivery included 23 fully welded ball valves with metal x metal seal and 23 ball valves of the split body with combined seats. The range of valves was wide, from 6″ up to 40″, Class 300-600. It was a demanding contract, especially in terms of construction design. We have never made metal-to-metal ball valves of such large size in an underground fully welded design, describes this interesting contract Project Manager Vlastimil Vitásek.”

TRANSGAZ S.A. is the technical operator of the national gas transmission system and it is responsible for its operation under quality, safety, efficiency, and environmental conditions.

“We are currently implementing other projects with this important Romanian company and negotiations are underway for further cooperation,” concludes Vlastimil Vitásek.
