The Evoguard company in Nittenau, a subsidiary of Krones AG specialising in valve technology, offers its own series of aseptic valves that meet all of the EHEDG stipulations.
The valve plate is available as a two-piece, removable model with a defined installation space for the seal made of EPDM or of highly fluorinated fluorocarbon rubber, or alternatively as a one-piece model featuring a PTFE compound as the seal material. The valves offer an option for bellows monitoring and leakage removal. For dependable process conditions, the housings have been designed in pressure rating PN 25 for nominal diameters up to DN 100, and in PN 16 for nominal diameter DN 125.
Space-saving piping concepts and a high-performance automation package can be implemented with valve racks featuring aseptic double-seat valves, thus enabling product and media to be routed in parallel, and route connections established between different product areas. Thanks to valve plates operating in mutual independence, each with its own seal, and the safety compartment between the pipes, the media involved can be dependably separated from each other. Any leaks can be discharged via the safety compartment. Rinsing valves and cyclable valve plates interfacing with the top and bottom product compartments integrate the safety compartment into the CIP/SIP processes.
