Since the 2 companies began working together over 20 years ago, over 100 Auma actuators have been installed at Chigwell WTW, owned by Essex & Suffolk Water. Modular product design is ensuring that upgrades are a straightforward procedure and a recent training programme has ensured that site staff are equipped to manage day to day actuation requirements. The modular electric actuators are facilitating essential valve control operations at the works including installations on rapid gravity and slow sand filters. Chigwell WTW reports that they are training educated staff in actuators, their applications, abilities and key functionality. Staff at the site have already put the training knowledge gained on the one day course into practise.
