Automated Valve & Equipment acquires TechniQuip

Automated Valve & Equipment Co. announced the acquisition of TechniQuip of Eastlake, Ohio. The company also welcomed Jack Ambrose and Tom McNamara on board. Their years of experience in the valve industry and TechniQuip’s outstanding level of customer service fits nicely with our company’s focus. In addition, this acquisition brings with it some prominent product lines to better serve our customers – Mueller Steam Specialty, Apollo Automation, Max-Air Technology and DynaTorque.

TechniQuip was founded in 1990 as a representative organisation, concentrating on process valves, automation and related industrial products. Faced with strong customer demand for valve automation, TechniQuip became an Apollo Valves actuation service centre in 1994.

Automated Valve & Equipment is the specialty valve and automation division of Ohio Pipe Valves & Fittings. Started in 1983, Automated Valves & Equipment Co. operates a full time machining and assembly shop to provide customers with fast turn-around on customised piping products.
